I freaking did it. I ran my 10 miler!! It was not as hard as i thought it would be, yet it was. All mental. Every last drop was mental. At mile 9 i had to stop and walk 1/2 mile. Than i ran that sucker home. It was slow and steady and thats the way it should be. At a certain point, i spit and i saw blood. Blood was coming out of my mouth. I got nervous but kept going. When i got home, i blew my nose. No blood. I think it was my tongue. Don’t ask me. I have no idea why my tongue would bleed but it did. Odd!

I think i am ready for the Half Marathon next week!! Bring it on!!!! January 25th, in Central Park!!! Like i said, bring it on!!!

Shazam! Where’d that come from? A 10 miler! Holy crap, you are no nonsense kind of chick! What a great job Michelle! I haven’t done one of those ina couple months.
For not doing a 10 miler, that is a good pace. I can tell that you got a bit tired toward the end. Kept a good pace through the middle.
    Bravo!

Congrats. That’s a real accomplishment. I was just thinking this morning that my first double-digit run was one to remember. Of course, I also remember the first “almost” double-digit run when I almost ran a few more yards but didn’t and the run mapped out to 9.99 miles!

That’s awesome. Great job and best wishes to you on the Half-Mary! Running in Central Park sounds very cool, and I’m not talking about the weather.

    Happy Running!
