Here is the kinda thing I’m into.  Well, I am not into being lewd with two dudes with food.  Come on, I’m not.  Really, I’m not.  :O)

But, I am most definitely into less sitting on my ass and more putting one foot in front of the other fast.  You know, I think the kids call it running these days.  That is what I am into.  Getting lewd with two dudes with food while running.  WOO!!

I got the official go ahead.  I saw a doctor today for I guess a 2nd or 3rd or 1000th opinion.  He felt me up.  Well, my TOE.  He felt my TOE.  UP!  Hardly any pain at all.

  3. Pretty similiar huh?  Actually almost exactly similiar!

Bottom line:

Can I run? YES! He said as long as it doesn’t hurt, go for it. Do I need surgery? No, he said. Can I run the Half Marathon on May 30th? If it doesn’t hurt, then you sure can!!

Oh, he did say he wants me to continue the ultrasound machine for 6 weeks and come in for another xray.
It may never heal. Well it may never heal with bone filling into the break. He said scar tissue may fill in a bit but probably no bone. WHY? Just a bad break in a bad area.

I have an appointment on May 12th… So, I think this may be the last of the TOE saga for a while. I know I must be fucking boring you all to tears, but this is no April Fool’s joke. It’s for real. My 10 weeks of ass sitting is officially coming to an end. I can call myself a runner once again! WOO!!

It is what it is. And it’s fucking happy day.

So, I plan to take it slow and steady.  I have no clue how to really get back into what I’m into.  I want to do it right.  Or at least not do it wrong.  I am not sure if I should “train” for the half or just run it for the fun of it because it’s what I’m into.  Probably, I just wanna have fun getting lewd with two dudes with food while running.  Really, what more can a gal ask for?

    Train and have fun! That such awesome news, I want to go run. OK, well, I’ve had quite the evening (you’ll read about it in tomorrows post that is if my internet is up tomorrow). I’ll run for you tomorrow and that is no April Fools!!!! WOO! WOO! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

    This is friggin awesome !!! You got that darn right… Slow and steady will do you the wonder ! I am confident that you will build it up nicely over time. Good Luck and keep us posted about your “toe” progress.

    Great news! Bad break.
    This is the first time that I’ve seen your xray. Holy shit – you broke that damn thing off!! You know what? If it doesn’t get any better by the next x-ray, it may be best to get that damn broken piece out of there and forego anything else with it. Either way you’ll keep running.
    If I had seen that before I would have said “hell with fixing it and treat it as if it was a bone spur or fragment. Cut it out. You would’ve been running after 1 week.
    I can’t believe that your ortho docs didn’t give you that option. Hell it could’ve been done in the office or as an outpatient. They like milking that moula out of you!!
